The Profitec filter screen improves distribution of hot water throughout the portafilter and across the coffee puck.
Its material a metal mesh, the simple filter screen includes the design of the Profitec logo and fits perfectly within your portafilter to help with consistent extraction. The filter screen puts extra assurance that the water spreads throughout all of the grounds instead of channeling, so that every espresso extraction is full of flavour.
An added benefit from using the Profitec filter screen is the reduction of interaction between the grounds of the puck and the brew group. Less mess, less cleaning!
