The 7FC-LS water filter is Fibredyne-II 1/2 micron carbon block media that inhibits the growth of bacteria on the filter media, which can cause short life. This is a very high capacity, high flow rate water filter with a built-in scale inhibitor. This water filter can be used for applications where scale control is required, such as coffee brewers and ice machines.
This cartridge can be used in place of any Everpure 7 size cartridge, such as the MH, i2000, 7CB5S, etc. It can also be an upgrade from a 4 size cartridge, providing higher flow rates and capacity. (4FCS, 4CB5S, etc…)
The 7FC-LS water filter is third party tested and certified by the National Sanitation Foundation (NSF). This means that the claims that Everpure makes regarding performance and capacity have been tested and certified to be true. This provides you with peace of mind that what you are buying will deliver on its promise of quality.
The two important standards are 42 and 53:
- NSF standard 42 is for chlorine & particulate reduction.
- NSF standard 53 is for cyst, turbidityand lead reduction.
