Freedom PS21 Block Fire Baffle
Genuine OEM replacement Freedom Independence PS21 pellet stove block fire baffle, part number 21073. The block fire baffle is located inside the firebox just before the heat exchange tubes. This baffle prevents direct flame from contacting the heat exchange tubes as well as creating a pathway for the heat to maximize overall efficiency. We recommend routinely pulling out the block fire baffle to clean off the ash and access the heat exchange tubes for thorough cleaning. No hardware required as the block fire baffle sits in place and secures with the 90 degree lip. We recommend replacement if there is heavy wear, warpage, or burn-throughs.
