The ash box, often referred to as the ash pan, is located inside the firebox of the Freedom PS21 directly underneath the burnpot. The ash box collects the accumulated ash during operation. Always wait until the stove is off and cool to pull out out the ash box. We recommend ashes are always placed in a non-combustible container with a lid, such as a small steel trash can.
