The satin finish on copper does something that the hammered finish can’t: it reads like light itself. The surface is worked until it’s smooth and then finished to a matte sheen — not reflective, not dull, but the quality of a material that has been paid attention to.
The Satin Copper Bathtub is a freestanding tub in pure copper, shaped in Marrakesh, with a satin exterior and a polished interior. The form is a classic oval — wide enough, deep enough, with high sides for a proper soak. The copper will age even beneath the satin finish — slowly, developing warmth rather than patina, becoming more of itself over time.
