This will also be correct for the PT60 Heatilator Pointe fireplace insert. Referred to as the Quadra-Fire Thermocouple K, this safety sensor is placed over the firepot sensing temperature during start-up. Once proper temperature is reached, the thermocouple will lock in allowing the stove to go into normal operation mode.
